The Torrumbarry Weir

 

At the southern most end of the Gunbower Island the Torrumbarry Weir is home to picturesque scenery as well as being a hive of activity and things to do. The old weir at this site was opened in 1924 and was winched in and out of the water, it has now been replaced with a new computer controlled weir.
